[Now he has to rethink his plan. If Korra no longer blames herself for what happened with Hei, then it wouldn't do any good if Chekov passed on what he had said. There's a chance he could upset her, even, and Korra can be intimidating when she's a certain kind of upset.

But shouldn't he at least tell her that he discussed her with Hei? Wouldn't it be a breech of confidence to do something that she might not approve of and not admit to it? (Arguably, he would have been better off not approaching Hei, then he wouldn't feel a need to apologize for anything. It had seemed like a good idea at the time!)

Chekov is thoroughly caught up in his thoughts. Anything Korra might be saying is going unheard.]
