[Korra's gotten better at thinking before she speaks, but exhaustion and an adrenaline crash mean she's not exactly thinking clearly. She's uncomfortable and frustrated and all she wants to do is sleep but Jinora's on her bed and she's just done. DONE.]
[Korra goes right for the metaphorical jugular, leaving Jinora without an immediate response. It wouldn't be so bad if she could say that the accusation isn't true, but she is a kid. She's no master airbender, and that's what Korra needs. Not a kid.
(Jinora can't even be a decent friend because, again, she's a kid. She can tell that Korra has a host of worries that she won't share because she doesn't think Jinora can handle it. Is she good for anything?)
The girl gets up and tries to maintain a neutral facade. She can cry as soon as she gets back to her own room.]
We're not training anymore.
[And now she'll leave Korra alone with her adult clothes and her adult secrets. Maybe the Avatar can find an adult trainer.]
[Korra chokes back an urge to scream. Why is this happening?!?! It'd been such a nice night, and now... everything's messed up. Pulling at her hair, she releases a quiet scream and goes to Jinora's bedroom door. She knocks.]
[She did manage to get to her room before crying, but now that she's started, Jinora doesn't think she can stop. The last thing she wants is to talk to Korra (and the second-to-last thing she wants is to cry while talking to Korra).]
[She almost kicks the door in her frustration, and storms back to her room. Jinora has no right to be pissed off with her anyway. SHE'S the one who stuck her nose where it didn't belong, and went through Korra's stuff. KORRA'S the one who should be pissed at her.
She throws herself onto the bed and pulls the covers over her head.]

[Yeah, she's terrible at making excuses. But what she lacks in cunning, she makes up for in sheer stubbornness.]

[She's not usually stubborn, but, in this case, she's obviously obligated to be.]
Who gave them to you?

Yeah, well, you're not Tenzin. You're a kid.

Jinora. Come on, Jinora, open up. Please.

No.
[Sniff.]

I hate everything.
