Gender, Sexuality, & Romance

Gender Identity: Gender neutral
Korra doesn't see herself as either a man or a woman. She's completely comfortable with her body as it is, but she would also be completely comfortable in a man's body. Gender is not at all a part of her sense of self.

Sexual Identity: Pansexual
She's not sexually attracted to everyone...but she can be attracted to anyone. She's attracted to internal qualities -- power, skill, determination, aloofness -- rather than external ones.

Romantic Identity: Heteromantic
When it comes to falling in love, though, she's much more likely to fall in love with a man. It's not inconceivable that she could fall in love with a woman, but she's much more familiar with men, tends to surround herself more with men, and has seen more heterosexual relationships than homosexual relationships.

Kink List

Overview
Korra has very little sexual experience. She's not very kinky by nature, although she definitely likes it rough. There are a few kinks (bondage, electricity) that right now are too emotionally painful for her to enjoy, but once some more time has passed, they'll be useful for her in processing those experiences.

She's young and inexperienced enough that she can learn to be kinky, but she will never need them the way naturally kinky people do.

trying to figure out Korra's western calendar birthday

Not that we know her Avatar calendar birthday either, but shhhhhhh.

ARIES: MARCH 21 - APRIL 20 )

SCORPIO: OCTOBER 24 - NOVEMBER 22 )

TL;DR her birthday is now November 22nd. Which also works out well more babble )

Not that she would know this right away, actually, since the Avatar!verse wouldn't have a Gregorian calendar. I don't remember if canon mentions them using a lunar calendar, but I think that'd make sense. Even so, she'd have no basis of comparison to determine what City date equals a date at home.

Probidditch!

Contemplating what a mashup of Quidditch and probending would be like if created by Korra, Bolin, and Ginny.

Quidditch rules
Probending rules

The addition of brooms would immediately eliminate the concept of zones.

At first it wouldn't be a team sport -- with just the three of them playing, hard to make two teams. So it would really just be a free-for-all for the snitch, with everyone flying and spells & bending being totally fair game. For magic, the rule would be you can't directly magic the snitch or another player -- so no casting a spell to make the snitch come to you, or casting a spell so an opponent's broom won't fly, but you can totally cast an illusion that will send an opponent chasing after a fake snitch.

Thinking about it, that wouldn't really work. Probending is a fight, while Quidditch a sport. The benders would have either too much of an advantage or too restricted to really do anything. At first, it would probably be more like a game of keepaway, with one player on a broom, trying to catch the snitch, and the other two players on the ground, trying to prevent that. So Bolin might earthbend obstacles into the flyer's way, or Korra might airbend the snitch in a different direction, or Ginny might cast an illusion to have them chase after a false snitch. The only rule would be no magic or bending directly on another player. So no airbending another player's broom or casting a spell on them.

Assuming more people got interested, it would start looking like an actual sport with teams. Like in Quidditch, each team would have a seeker who's going after the snitch. The seeker is not allowed to use any of their powers (magic, bending, etc.). The seeker is the only one who flies. The other players, called "beaters" for the sake of convenience, are all on the ground.

So zones would make a comeback! Sorta. The beaters have two goals: to prevent the other team's seeker from getting the snitch, and to knock the other team's beaters out of the ring so that they can't attack your own seeker.

There's no required number of players per team, except each team has to have the same number of players, and an equal number of players with equivalent powers (unless the outlier is the chaser). So if Korra (bender), Bolin (bender), Ginny (wizard), Abed (normal), Charlie (equivalent of a firebender) and Toph (bender) wanted to make two teams, the makeup would be:

TEAM 1:
Seeker - Ginny
Guards - Korra, Bolin

TEAM 2:
Seeker - Abed
Guards: Charlie, Toph

That way there are an equal number of benders using their powers. The game ends when somebody catches the snitch.
